Winnie-the-Pooh
Tonight we meet Winnie-the-Pooh, a bear of very little brain and a very great love of honey, in the opening chapter of A. A. Milne's beloved classic. Pooh follows the sound of buzzing bees, climbs higher than any bear probably should, and discovers that getting honey out of a tree is trickier than it looks — especially when you are a bear. Told slowly in a soft, unhurried voice, with quiet night-cricket ambience underneath and no sudden sounds, this reading drifts from a gentle welcome and breathing cue all the way to a sleepy goodnight. Settle in, breathe slow, and float with Pooh up into the Hundred Acre sky.
