Tonight's sleep story travels to Misselthwaite Manor in a gentle adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's The Secret Garden, from 1911. It begins with Mary Lennox arriving from India, cross and lonely, to live in her uncle's great silent house on the Yorkshire moor. Skipping in the clean wind, Mary finds a robin, a buried key, and a door hidden in ivy, opening onto a garden locked for ten years. With Dickon and his animals, she clears and plants and waits, until spring wakes the roses. Then she finds her hidden cousin Colin, and brings him into the garden, where fresh air, friendship, and patient Magic help them all grow strong.
