The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Tonight we travel with Dorothy and her small dog Toto, carried by a cyclone from the grey Kansas prairie to the bright Land of Oz. Following the yellow brick road toward the Emerald City, Dorothy frees the Scarecrow who longs for brains, oils the Tin Woodman who longs for a heart, and befriends the Lion who longs for courage. Together they cross rivers, rest among poppies, meet the Wizard, free the Winkies, and learn from Glinda that the silver shoes could have carried Dorothy home all along, and that her friends already carried much of what they sought on the road together, all along the way.
